Wow! The last 18 months have been a mine field!!
The Pituitary Tumour aka the ‘Bitch Bastard’ has long gone and the fallout regularly monitored and treated with Hydrocortisone.
Along came a Small Bowel full of Neuroendocrine Tumours, mesentary presenting the highlights of the tumours, a lymph node matted with them too and a Liver peppered with the metastasis they love to spread! Well 11 months later I am recovering from a big surgery to remove the little blighters in the bowel. They have been removed from the Big Brother House – slam the damn 🚪! As for the metastasis in the liver, 5 of these sneaky cretins continue to reside in my liver without paying any rent! However, they’re under the watchful eye of a great team of Net specialists across two hospitals.
January 2019 has arrived, I’m still here, still on treatment which will last for life as this cancer is incurable. It also so happens not to be genetic – MENS1 or MENS2. Thankfully ☺️
My goal for 2019 is to stay well clear of the narcissists that appear in my life. I am so over the ‘me me me me’ characters! It’s actually boring and tiring for only they have detrimental situations with little or no thought about others.Slam the dam door 🚪 once again, ENOUGH!
Anyway moving swiftly on…
Well it’s official!
The ‘Bean’ has been evicted from the Big Brother House!!! Yeeaahh. Seeing it written on paper and hearing the message/reviewing the MRI images makes all the difference. When you see the tumour on an MRI image before and post op where it resided, it truly is amazing stuff. The neurosurgeons are a force to be reckoned with!
I have nothing but praise for my surgeon and his team. They will continue to track my progress on an annual basis.
Thumbs up, God is good, yeaaaaaaaa!
Hello! Sorry I’ve not blogged for a while. X
Weddings always make you feel lovely!!
Love is in the air 😍🎩💍⛪️🏩💑
It’s funny how you embrace strength and courage when you least expect to! A great saying that follows this through, ‘Who God bless, no man curse!’
Fear is a destructive emotion, it entangles you to the point of destruction.
You see lately, I have not given fear any space in my thoughts. I refuse to let it or anyone railroad me into endorsing ‘fear!’ You keep it! 😂
On a positive note, Christmas is commmmmminnnnng!! 🎄👏🏽🙏🏾💞
Well this week has most definitely been eventful! In all my recent research into addisons disease since starting this blog it seems kind of ‘funny’ that I would go into an Adrenal Crisis just a few days later. Since my Diagnosis (which I will do a post about soon) in 2011, I have only been […]

Every day is a new day, every day brings new challenges, every day may bring new answers, sometimes it does not.
A listening ear and a cuddle is sometimes all that is needed to show that we care…
There was so much love for you today
Rest in peace sweetheart.
Non descript day.
Full of silly laughter and positivity.
My bones still hurt a lot but I’ll get over it!
I take the words ‘non descript’ right back!
I received the most A-Mazing news ever! So so happy right now! When you don’t give up, the world opens doors that you never knew existed or that it was even possible! 👍🏽🙏🏾👏🏽
